8 Awesome Doctor Who Themed Christmas Decorations

Your Doctor Who inspired festivities.

It's Christmas Eve which means tomorrow the big day will finally arrive, as will this year's highly anticipated Doctor Who Christmas Special in which Peter Capaldi will be lighting up our screens in his first festive outing as the Twelfth Doctor. But you already know all that. What you might not know, however, is that Doctor Who fans across the land have been getting into the spirit of the season by adding a touch of Time Lord class to their festivities. Whether it's TARDIS baubles, Christmas cookies or Time Lord tree toppers, your Christmas decor just wouldn't be complete without paying tribute to the timey-wimey escapades of our beloved hero. You've been sending in pictures of your festivities and presented on the following pages are some of our personal favourites. Take a look at what your fellow Whovians have been doing to spread the joy and let us know in the comments if you've been partaking in your own Doctor Who themed or inspired celebrations this Christmas. Don't forget (not that you would, of course) that the greatest present of them all can finally be unwrapped tomorrow in the form of Last Christmas and you can use the following links to dissect the latest pictures, see what the episode's elusive title could mean and discover what definitely won't happen in the special - after you've checked out the great pictures in this gallery, though! Oh, and here's Doctor Who's Top 10 Christmassy Moments, too. Just 'cause. Have a fantastic Christmas and hopefully Santa will leave you everything you want under your tree - including lots of Doctor Who goodies - and more. And hopefully your tree won't start spinning uncontrollably and try to destroy everything in sight, either. Because nobody needs that at Christmas. Tumblr Mycr66v6cs1s338l3o1 500 Gif
