Arrow: 10 Things Season 4 Has Got Horribly Wrong (So Far)

Arrow keeps making the same mistakes.

After the disaster that was Season 3, there wasn€™t a lot of hope for Arrow to get any better. Yet, against the odds, this season has been an incredibly enjoyable surprise, improving in almost every notable way. The action has been better than ever and the villain is incredibly captivating, but like any good show, Arrow is still far from perfect. While the show€™s greatest strengths often come from stellar character moments, these same characters have also been responsible for the show€™s biggest weaknesses. Having their lives injected with so much petty drama and forcing the main conflict to last over 23 episodes is going to inevitably cause characters to feel uneven, and at times, annoying. Characters should grow and change, but certain journeys this year just haven€™t been playing out in an enjoyable manner. These character actions are only made worse by some of the plot restrictions that have been put in place this year. Trying to get bigger and bolder in every way has stretched the show too far. New elements have caused a litany of logic problems and the looming Legends Of Tomorrow has caused creative decisions that aren€™t in Arrow€™s best interests. Arrow has been much more entertaining this year, but if it wants to get back to the glory days of Season 2, it needs to stop getting so many things wrong.
