Daredevil: 10 Punisher Storylines For Season 2

2. The Devil, Inside And Out

Ed Brubaker and Michael Lark had some considerable shoes to fill, as they took over from Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev's marathon run on Daredevil that defined the character for a whole new generation. Undaunted, the new creative team took the ball and ran with it, picking up exactly where the incumbents left off. That, by the way, was with Matt Murdock's secret identity having been outed by Wilson Fisk, before being arrested by the FBI and jailed alongside the Kingpin of crime and a whole score of supervillains just itching to get some shiv-shaped revenge on the Man Without Fear who put them there in the fist place. How could Daredevil possibly survive in such a place? He gets some unexpected help. Turns out Frank Castle is also serving some jail time, so Matt reluctantly teams up with The Punisher during a prison riot-turned-jailbreak. It's an uneasy alliance, a really damn cool story, and Netflix can reuse their Orange Is The New Black sets.
