Doctor Who: 5 Things I'd Change About The Day Of The Doctor

Doctor Who 12 Doctors And so Doctor Who's 50th Anniversary comes to a close. Apart from that excruciating failure at trying to have a video conference with One Direction during the Afterparty programme, it was everything we could have wanted with a cascade of media thrown at us in celebration. It was Doctor Who Christmas and the big fat turkey of the occasion was the truly incredible piece of drama that was the Anniversary Special: The Day Of Doctor. But now it's several days after Christmas and it's time to start picking things apart. Namely what's left of the turkey after we've finished stuffing our faces with it like the Master in The End Of Time. And that's where this particular laboured metaphor runs out. Although The Day Of The Doctor exceeded expectations by far, there are a still a few little things that I personally would have done differently. Although my childlike Whovian side is crying a lament at me and trying to convince me it was perfect, the pedant and filmmaker inside me is making me look more closely at it and think about how I would do it.
