3. Hiro Nakamura Heroes
Not that he really needs a TARDIS, having his own inbuilt time travel and teleport system, but Hiro would make a brilliant assistant. His talents are certainly unlike those of the usual assistants: Claras intelligent, Rose was a little sporty and Donna could type 100 words per minute. Hiro would put the others to shame when he zapped through time to sort it all out. But would his talents become an issue? Hed certainly come to blows with the Doctor about becoming part of events. The Doctor would insist that they couldnt go back in time and change things, while Hiro would push up his glasses, crease up his nose and zap himself to another time zone to prove him wrong. This little disagreement could mean that most episodes would be over before they really begin Hiro would just zap himself back in time and sort it all out before it had a chance to happen. Despite all of this, it would be interesting to see Hiro fighting aliens. His love of comic books taught him to be courageous and brave but how would he fare when faced with strange creatures from other worlds? Somehow, I think as long as he got his fair share of waffles, hed be ok.
