Doctor Who: Who's The Best Companion? (Classic Edition)

doctor who companions Deciding who your favourite Doctor Who companion is like picking a takeaway. So many great options and it depends on what you€™re in the combination of tastes you are looking for. Across twenty-six series, one TV movie and eight doctors, there are so many companions to choose from the classic era. Picking the best companions all comes down to a) the stories that gave them the opportunity to shine, b) their relationship with the doctor and in many cases c) their dynamic with other companions. To discuss the best companion of the classic era, I€™m going to look at my favourite companion with each Doctor. I€™ll also have a runner up, because sometimes, one just isn€™t enough. It€™s a bit like top trumps€only instead of strength, intelligence and magic level (okay, I don€™t think that one could apply in this case), I€™ll be providing evidence of the moments in the show that make each companion the best of the best. Some choices may be obvious, some controversial. I look forward to your comments below. Let me know your favourite classic Doctor Who companion, and why!
