Family Guy: 10 Biggest Changes Made To The Show

9. The Re-Casting Of Death

This one was not a change for the better. The original Death on Family Guy was voiced by Norm MacDonald, of Saturday Night Live fame. However, when the character was to return to the show, he was replaced by Adam Carolla due to a scheduling conflict with MacDonald's yet-to-be-cancelled A Minute With Stan Hooper. It's a shame, because everyone lost in this change. Carolla isn't terrible, but he's nowhere near as good as MacDonald. A Minute With Stan Hooper lasted barely more than a minute before cancellation. And whether it's just a change in creative direction or a lack of positive feedback on the voice change, Death has been seen less and less frequently in Quahog these days.
