5. Stewie Fixes His Time Machine

When Brian was first hit by the car and later pronounced dead at a veterinary surgery, it didn't take long for Stewie to think up the obvious solution of just jumping in his time machine and travelling back in time to prevent the accident. But, of course, there was a flaw, because Stewie had earlier dismantled the machine and the parts he needed to repair it with were "unavailable". It's a bit of a leap of the imagination though to think that he'd just leave it there, and abandon all hope of repairing his machine simply because one little part is out of stock. This is Stewie we're talking about - a pretty determined character who will stop at nothing to get what he wants. And if Seth MacFarlane wants Brian back from the dead as well, all he has to do is dream up some way the machine can be repaired and hey-presto, everyone's favourite, martini-drinking author is back on our screens.
