Game Of Thrones: 6 Ways [Spoiler] Could Have Survived The Season 5 Finale

5. He Wargs Into Ghost

The show hasn€™t explored Jon€™s ability to warg into his direwolf in the same way that the books have, but warging has been shown to exist in the world, in particular with his half-brother Bran, so it wouldn€™t be too much of a stretch for them to include Jon being able to do it. As he is stabbed he could take control of Ghost, and have him come to the rescue of his body - chasing off the brothers and protecting it from further harm. Or he could simply warg into him as the stabbings take place, and escape from Castle Black and go beyond The Wall. Either way, this would allow his consciousness to live on even if his body doesn€™t. It would explain why he didn't feel the fourth knife - he had left his own body, so couldn€™t feel what was happening to it - but also present further problems. The longer Jon stays in the animal, the less human he€™ll become, so it wouldn€™t be a long-term solution. However, it would be a means of him escaping and living until a way can be found to bring him back to life properly.
