Game of Thrones: 7 Dead Or Missing Characters Who Could Return

What is dead may never die. But rises again harder and stronger.

What is dead may never die. But rises again harder and stronger. Those of course are the words of followers of the Drowned God, but there appears to be a fair amount of truth in them throughout Westeros and the lands across the Narrow Sea. Game of Thrones is a show with an infamously high body count, not afraid to kill off its most beloved characters or best-known actors in order to serve the plot and shock fans. To say it's been successful in doing it so far is an understatement of Hodor sized proportions. Previously it was only North of The Wall where the dead refused to stay as such, but Season 5 has given reason to believe that, while the White Walkers may not have made it beyond The Wall, the ability for characters to return from the dead may well have. This, of course, is due to the reappearance in episode 2, The House of Black and White, of a certain man. While it isn€™t necessarily the same character, the actor€™s return - which makes sense as giving the audience a familiar reference point in a new location - shows that D.B Weiss and David Benioff, like in George R.R. Martin€™s books, aren€™t afraid to play around with the idea of resurrection. Similarly, with such a large cast of characters to keep track of, there are some who have simply disappeared and may or not be returning. We don€™t know for certain that these characters are dead, but they€™ve been gone long enough you could have forgotten about them. Two examples of this have already re-appeared this season, with both Myrcella Baratheon and Lancel Lannister - neither seen since season 2 - making comebacks. Here are some characters who fans may well not have seen the last of, whether they've been slain or not. Be warned: Spoilers Are Coming!
