3. She Will Ride Her Dragons To Save Westeros
Perhaps the most accepted end of the series is that it will be a final climatic battle between the White Walkers and the dragons, the titular Ice and Fire of the saga, with Daenerys leading her winged beasts into the war and saving Westeros from total destruction.
This idea is an easy one to buy into, because it has been set up that way an awful lot, with Daenerys well-positioned to be one of the ultimate heroes of the world. If/when she gets to Westeros it's going to be a big occasion, and what bigger purpose than to save the entire land. The Others will eventually invade, and it'll take the fire to defeat the ice.
While this does fit with all the prophesying we've heard so far, and would make for one fantastic battle, the only sticking point is that it's a little too much of a simple 'good versus evil' finale for a series with so much moral complexity.
