8. Wun Wun Goes Berserk (Then Dies)

Thanks to the teaser for the Battle Of The Bastards episode, we know that Wun Wun the giant is going to be a big part of Jon Snow's improbable assault on the superior Bolton forces. He's the only weapon of mass destruction Jon can count on (assuming Melisandre is out of the picture), and his size suggests all sorts of wondrous possibilities for directors looking to make a memorable mark in war scenes.

Unfortunately, he's probably also going to die for exactly those reasons too. The CGI budget probably needs it to happen at the very least.

Likelihood: 9/10

As long as Wun Wun is alive, the Starks have a fighting chance: he's basically a troop of extremely strong men on his own, and he seems pretty impervious to conventional weaponry. There's no question he'd have to die to shift the balance even more towards the Boltons, turning the darkness up a notch just before hope is restored somehow.

And as for the rampage? We've already seen it in the trailer, so expect a solid few moments of him stomping Boltons, Karstarks and Umbers into dust.
