Game Of Thrones Season 4: 10 Things Fans Who Haven't Read The Books Want To See

10. Something Good Happens To Theon €“ Anything

Theon Greyjoy has had a pretty rough go of it lately. After his father, Balon, questions his loyalty to his real family, Theon decides to turn on the Starks, who had taken him into his care. He leads a siege on Winterfell, falsely taking credit for murdering Bran and Rickon Stark, and is ultimately betrayed by his men. He is then taken into custody by Stark supporters and tortured for his crimes. When Ramsey Snow comes to rescue him, things get really bad. Snow, a complete sociopath, kidnaps Theon himself and continues to torture him €“ stabbing, cutting, and ultimately de-membering (not dismembering €“ Theon might have preferred that) him. In the season finale, Theon's father is sent a package containing his... well... package. Balon Greyjoy is unconcerned. What's amounted to (in our world) a year of hell for poor Theon needs to end. After all, he only stood against the Starks out of misguided loyalty €“ which wasn't even returned! Luckily, Theon's sister, Yara, was disgusted with her father's nonchalant attitude and set out to rescue her brother. Let's hope that season four sees Theon catch some sort of break.
