Game Of Thrones Season 4: 10 Things Fans Who Haven't Read The Books Want To See

9. Bran Masters His Powers

Since the first season, Bran Stark has been having visions and dreams which have not only placed him in the consciousness of a crow and his dire wolf, Summer, but have also portended future events. Up until fleeing Winterfell with Osha, Hodor, and Rickon and meeting Jojen and Meera Reed, though, his strange abilities seemed to be more of a mystery than a benefit. As Jojen has similar powers, older sister Meera is able to explain the nature of these abilities to Bran €“ he is a warg, someone with the ability to enter the minds of animals and control them. With a greater understanding, Bran is able to control Summer, using the dire wolf to aid Jon Snow in his battle with wildlings. Now that Bran knows the nature of his powers, it's time for him to become an expert at using then. Stuck in the dangerous north, he can continue to inhabit Summer and other wolves for protection, or even use crows for reconnaissance. After a year on the run, maybe Osha, Hodor, and the kids can take a stand, with Bran watching over them.
