13. The First Comment
Taystee, Cindy, Alison, and Janae keep Caputo and Josh hostage, and force the former to read a statement about Poussey's death. He does it only partially, with Taystee taking over once he stops speaking. Then the women put the video online in order to get their message across. The video isn't much popular though.
Suddenly they get their first comment - finally someone noticed what they're doing and hopefully appreciated their struggle, right? Instead, it's a "earn up to twelve hundred dollars a week from home" comment. While funny, the moment also reveals the cruelty and indifference of the Internet. Whenever you want to do something important, there's always a bot or a troll undermining the seriousness of your actions.
