If you were devastated when Parks and Recreation went off the air, here's some good news: there's still plenty left to explore in Pawnee. Sure you may have seen every episode, but dozens of subtle jokes and Easter eggs remain that likely went over your head the first time around.

After all, this was the kind of show where the joke might be a character's understated reaction, something weird happening in the background, or even the shirt a person's wearing. Every time you watch, there's something new to laugh at.

As with these 15 gags, though, sometimes the joke is just so damn subtle, you could see an episode a million times without ever picking up on it.

15. April Steals A Skeleton From Ann's House

April Ludgate loves Halloween and hates Ann, and that's clear going back to this background gag from the Season 2 episode Greg Pikitis. As Ann's Halloween party is breaking up, a bunch of characters are in the shot at once, and the main focus is Mark and Ron high fiving. That's where the camera zooms in, but pay close attention to the left side of the frame. In a blink and you'll miss it moment, April and her friends Derek and Ben steal one of Ann’s fake skeletons on the way out the door. It's a pretty big one, too, big enough that two people need to lift it together.

Miss it the first time? Ann apparently did as well, as she doesn’t look over in their direction at all and nobody comments on it ever again. It’s a hilarious little moment where you see the characters being themselves even when the focus isn’t on them, and this sure is a very April thing to do.
