Ken Hotate is a pretty hilarious side character, and half of his schtick is just messing with everyone and getting them to do what he wants. His first appearance is in "Harvest Festival," where he needs Leslie to move the event because it's being held on a sacred burial ground. At first Leslie won't budge, so he threatens to put a curse on them, hoping that'll scare everyone. "There are two things I know about white people," he explains to the camera. "They love Rachael Ray, and they are terrified of curses."

Apparently Ken puts that knowledge to use in more ways than one. He's also the owner of the Wamapoke Casino, and when the show cuts to the exterior of it later on, look what else is happening there: a sign reads, "Tonight: Rachel Ray." Assuming his theory is true, the casino no doubt made a fortune that night.
