6. Emma In The Dark Alley
In your close call of the week, there’s a scene where Emma is taking out the garbage when the door slams behind her and the killer suddenly appears. She runs and runs, eventually bumping into Will who just happens to show up at that exact moment. He was responding to a text Emma sent asking for them to meet, but it turns out she’s not the one who sent it. Uh oh.
Later on, the show definitely does seem to be trying to get the audience to think Will might be the killer, with his sudden appearance very reminiscent of Billy Loomis. If that’s the case, there’d have to be more than one killer, right? Because obviously Will couldn’t have been standing in the alley wearing the mask only to appear in front of Emma all the way down the street. Could Will and Jake be working together and taking turns as the killer?
That seems doubtful just because of how similar to the first Scream movie that would be, but this definitely seems to be what the show is trying to make the audience think at the moment.
