Game Of Thrones may be more brutal, and Breaking Bad may be more dramatic. Mad Men may be subtler, The Walking Dead may be bleaker, and Boardwalk Empire may have much, much better hats. But for sheer, compelling, visceral, bloody-mindedly thrilling television, you cant get much more jawdroppingly addictive than FXs grueling biker melodrama, Sons Of Anarchy. Now about to begin its seventh and final season, the most violent show on television is about to up its game for the last time. For a few years now, successive seasons of Sons Of Anarchy have been pushing the envelope of what the shows core audience can handle, amping up the betrayals, gore, and general well, anarchy, year after year. On September 9th this comes to a climax, and fans have been buzzing for months. The teaser trailers, interviews and news stories out there to date have hyped up the reasons to salivate at the prospect of the return of Mister Mayhem. Brace yourselves. Its going to be a wild ride.
