The Flash Season 2: 10 Big Questions After The Mid-Season Finale

"Deck the halls with the body parts of a girl named Holly."

Merry Christmas, Flash fans! The holiday season was in full swing in Central City this week, complete with festive sweaters, family drama, and unwanted gifts. Of course, this being The Flash, the latter two involved an unknown son turning up, and Santa handing out bombs. Ho ho ho. Christmas is a time when you often see people you haven't for a while, and this episode reintroduced both Weather Wizard and The Trickster, while also giving us our first look at Wally West, some developments in two relationships, and the reveal of just what Zoom's plan is. This was the last speedster action we'll get of 2015, and it capped what has been an absolutely stellar year with an episode that was fun, crazy, and left a lot to be explored and questions to be answered when Season 2 picks back up again early next year.

Honourable Mention: Can We Please Have More Of The Trickster?

Showing up on small screens just before he appears on a big one in something called The Force Awakens (yeah, apparently he's in it...), Mark Hamill was back as the Trickster, a role he first played in the 90s and returned to in Season 1 of The Flash. If Luke Skywalker has indeed turned to the Dark Side, then his performance here gives an indication of how he could play it. He is delightfully insane, owning absolutely every scene he's in by essentially bringing his animated Joker to a live-action setting. He might be a little busy with Star Wars, but since Christmas is a good time to ask for things, can we please have him return next year? Thanks in advance, Santa.
