The Flash Season 2: 10 Things That Need To Happen Before The Mid-Season Break

We're Zooming towards the winter break, but a few things need clearing up first.

The Flash doesn't do things slowly, but even by the standards of the Fastest Man Alive it has raced through the opening stages of its second season. Even with a week off, presumably so Barry and co. can indulge in a Thanksgiving feast and a Black Friday trampling over their fellow humans to get a TV with 20% off (even heroes love a bargain), there're just two episodes standing between The Flash and the mid-season, that long winter where all the fall shows take a seemingly endless break. It's already accomplished an awful lot so far in Season 2, including the return of Gorilla Grodd, the introduction of another Flash, the arrival of monstrous new Big Bad, Zoom, giving Cisco some powers, bringing back Harrison Wells, and establishing the multiverse and Earth-Two. To that extent, it has already done much of the hard work in terms of getting things in place for the rest of Season 2 once the show returns in 2016. However, if it truly wants fans to be brimming with excitement for its comeback, and agonising over just how long the wait is, then it'll have to do a bit more as well. Go the extra mile, as it were, which shouldn't take all that long for the Flash. It almost feels greedy to be asking for more at this stage, since the show has been so fan-pleasingly outrageous already. Almost...
