The Walking Dead: 10 Deleted Scenes You Need To See

ZOMBIE LORI.

AMC

Is it even possible to have 'too much' Walking Dead? I'm inclined to say no. The showrunners have a masterplan to carry the series well into double figures if the monster audience holds on, but in the past, there hasn't always been enough time to squeeze everything in.

Like with almost every TV series, The Walking Dead has a wide range of scenes that were clipped from the final version we all watched on our screens, but in hindsight, there are some genuinely excellent moments that were completely omitted from the series.

Whether it be the beginning of beautiful friendships, or an old character returning in zombie form, there were some key moments put aside, and here's a selection of the very best...

10. Carol Puts Daryl In His Place (Added Coral)

Fans will continue to push the 'Caryl' train until either of the two potential participants is inevitably given a cruel send-off. Daryl is the pièce de résistance of the series, with an enormous fanbase dedicated to his TV-unique character. He is the creators' individual stamp on the story and one of the main men, despite not featuring in the comic book source material.

He's here taking to Carl (has anyone actually seen that happen before?) when Carol approaches. She confronts Daryl, stands firm, and puts him in his place. This is a time when both characters are growing: Carol from a vulnerable mother into the strong, hardened schemer we see today, and Daryl is going through the journey from outcast to a true member of the group.
