Lori attracted a whole swarm of hate from the fans, and most of the time they had good reason. We lost count of the times she lost her own son, and it's not like they just got separated while grocery shopping, this is a ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE. If there was a 'bad mother of the year' award, Lori would be annually subscribed to win it.

Here she's confronted by Dale - owner of the most expressive face in history - and he makes some very good points about how humanity had a second chance after the fall of civilisation and they're in the middle of blowing it. The human race is more fractured than ever before, though Dale believed this was the ideal time for people to rally together as one. It's that sort of rational, reasonable, optimistic logic that saw Dale pulled apart soon after.
