Titans Season 2: 4 Ups & 2 Downs From 'Faux Hawk'

A new Titan is finally born in a penultimate episode that spends too much time daydreaming.

Though Titans' second season has made much better use of its ensemble cast than its first, it is still essentially the story of Dick Grayson's rebirth. Yes, the former Boy Wonder has finally spoken of the sins of his past, but he hasn't been able to let them remain there and, as a result, he's spent the season attempting to atone for them.

However, his actions have had an impact on the rest of the Titans, as the old and new variations of the team have grown weary of his lies and ultimately left him - somehow completely removed from the fact that every time they separate, bad things happen (for both the characters and the show in general).

Speaking of those characters, 'Faux Hawk' allowed us to catch up with one of Dick's fellow hard-hitting Titans of old, as the moody Hank Hall looked for a way of channelling his anger and, as he did so, we learned a lot more about Deathstroke's daughter, Rose Wilson.

The penultimate episode of the season, 'Faux Hawk' shed some light on the remaining questions that we still had but it did so at the expense of the main narrative. That didn't, however, prevent it from shining bright on a few occasions.
