Titans' sophomore season may have taken the show out of the dark days of its first, but in spite of its more light-hearted and optimistic tone, it is still very much beholding to the events of its past. That has created an air of mystery that has kept fans intrigued for the entirety of its run.

The show has used multiple tools in order to unveil the truths behind the Titans' first run, using the return of Deathstroke, the recklessness of Jason and some very heated dialogue exchanges to tease us with what went down. The most effective of those tools, however, are episodes set solely in the past that, instead of telling us the history of the young superheroes, show us everything that happened.

'Jericho' was the latest to do just that, revealing how the young and unassuming son of Slade Wilson factored into the Titans' rivalry with Deathstroke and how the team's actions during that time would single-handedly turn them into the moody shells that they are right now. It was the final chapter of a story that needed to be told, and one that was led by a phenomenal performance from Chella Man.
