Titans Season 2: 4 Ups & 3 Downs From ‘Jericho’
Downs...
3. ANOTHER Flashback Episode
As an episode, there really wasn't much to fault about 'Jericho'. It was a continuation of the previous flashback episode, it was one that we absolutely needed to see and it did everything it set out to do (and we'll get to all that later). That said, it's now the third flashback episode in a very short space of time.
The show is eight episodes into its second season, and we've already had 'Aqualad', 'Conner' and now 'Jericho' all grouped together rather closely - and that's not even taking the premiere into account which was essentially last season's finale. That means we've only had four episodes devoted to this season's current narrative so far and, in case you didn't know, time is running out.
All three flashback episodes were essential to the plot, but having all of them grouped so closely together really hinders the pacing, and with only five episodes of the season remaining, it would be nice to get two consecutive present-day installments.
