The same night the Ultimate Fighting Championship hosts UFC 180 in Mexico City, Mexico - a card plagued by injuries that saw one big fight lost entirely, and the promotion's heavyweight champion removed from the event - Bellator MMA offers a big night of action of their own, live on free TV on Spike in the US and on 5* (5 Star) in the UK. It's the final event of the year for Bellator, and they've pulled out all the stops, hosting a ton of fight week events featuring MMA legends like Randy Couture and Royce Gracie, and stacking the free card with big names - though they might be the big names of yesteryear, to be fair. Yes, Tito Ortiz, the former UFC light heavyweight champion of questionable relevance headlines the card. On the plus side, he's coming off a win for the first time in years. On the down side, it was over a small middleweight, albeit Bellator's middleweight champ, who was fighting up in weight and would go on to lose the belt.
