1. Joey Styles Strikes Back

After running down such a miserable list of backstage hazings, it’s only right to end on one story in which the alleged bully gets his comeuppance. Joey Styles’ confrontation with JBL has become legendary among WWE fans, particularly those who aren’t fond of the former WWE Champion, and the idea of Bradshaw getting knocked-out by a 5’7” commentator is still as hilarious as it ever was.

In 2008, WWE headed to Iraq for Tribute To The Troops. As the story goes, JBL decided that his victim for this particular trip would be Styles, and he relentlessly bullied the former voice of ECW throughout the tour, breaking him down with verbal abuse, and purposefully spilling a drink on him at one point.

Unfortunately for JBL, he’d picked on the wrong announcer. Styles decided to retaliate after several days of hazing, and dropped the big Texan with a single haymaker. Bradshaw was out cold, and left with a black eye and a huge bruise to his ego. Unsurprisingly, Styles had no further problems after that, and JBL reportedly kept himself to himself on the next tour. Joey wasn’t punished for the incident, and strangely, JBL has never spoken about it in public...
