That near fall. Wow.

In 2015, Seth Rollins issued an open challenge for his WWE Championship, but only opened it to people under a certain weight. Rollins thought he'd escaped a match, but that was before the diminutive Neville's music hit.

Neville and Rollins had an awesome match, a match far too good for a random episode of Raw. Neville got himself over in a big way and showed the WWE Universe exactly why he was NXT Champion for over 280 days. The pinnacle of the match came when Neville hit his Red Arrow finisher on Rollins and made the cover. The referee seemingly counted to three, causing the crowd to go insane.

Unfortunately for fans of the Geordie, the referee waved the decision off, because Rollins, the sneaky little heel he was at the time, had his foot on the rope. This moment was executed to perfection - and this whole match was a great showcase of the NXT-style of wrestling on the main roster.

Just a shame we'll probably never seen Neville in the WWE ever again.
