On September 7, The Temple will re-open its doors for business once again. Season 3 of Lucha Underground will soon begin, with the longest season yet set to air. Some crazy wrestling, outlandish storylines and a good dose of violence are sure to commence.

Over the past couple years, Lucha Underground has taken a dramatically different tone to presenting professional wrestling than what WWE and TNA have delivered. However, the show has been so influential, that their brilliantly shot backstage story segments are now being mimicked by their larger competitors. The originators, though, still do it the best.

Nearly every episode of the show is filled with something you’ve never seen before on a wrestling program. Whether it’s a breathtaking move, unique match stipulation, characters teleporting, first degree murder or someone morphing into a dragon, the show is unpredictable, outlandish and almost always entertaining.

To get excited for the upcoming season, and to celebrate the awesomeness that is Lucha Underground, let’s take a look back at the ten best moments we've seen in The Temple so far.

Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
