1. Sting - The Crow

Sting became a household name with his "surfer" look - short, bleached blond hair, colorful facepaint, and exposed muscles. By 1996, though, he had grown his hair long and let it reverted back to its natural color, and soon, when Sting felt betrayed by WCW's top stars due to their lack of trust in him, he changed his image entirely - he started painting his face black and while, and he began to wear black tights, a tanktop, and a leather duster.

The look was immediately recognizable and soon became iconic, but it wasn't original - it was based on the 1994 film The Crow, where the main character sports a similar getup. As the movie has become a cult classic, so too has Sting's costume endured - he's worn the same gear for the past 19 years (with some red thrown in on occasion), and has become even more well known for this look than for the one that first made him a star.
