It's good to have friends.

It's nice to have someone there to have your back when times are tough. Someone who supports you, and is there for you to lean on. We could all use a few friends who can bail us out of any situation, or to help us capture a golden championship belt.

There's just something great about stables in professional wrestling. There should be more of them! They're fun to watch, because of the chemistry of the individuals and the fact that the damage they dish out as a team is something that no man or woman can do alone.

Oftentimes stables band together to help their leader chase a title. They usually set their sights on one particular individual, and dominate them with their numbers odds. It's what made The Four Horsemen work so well for so many years.

Because of these cheating tactics, stables are usually comprised of heels, which is why they don't go after each other very often. At other times, we see a group of faces banding together to vanquish the evil threat in their company. But no matter how it's set up, it's usually a blast to watch it play out.

Here are the ten best stable wars that we've seen.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
