10 Best WWE Championship Reigns Under 100 Days

7. Stone Cold Steve Austin, 1998 (91 Days)

Chris Jericho Undisputed Champion
WWE

Stone Cold Steve Austin's run in the mid-to-late 1990s can only be described as "the best run that any character has ever had in the WWE".

When Austin defeated Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XIV to win his first WWF Championship7, it was his official coronation as the face of the company. What some forget, however, is that his first reign was just a day short of 3 months long.

Following a couple of successful title defenses against Dude Love, Austin lost the gold to Kane in a First Blood Match. Well, technically, he didn't lose TO Kane, as he only started bleeding thanks to a haphazardly-delivered chair shot by The Undertaker.

Luckily, Austin would win the title back from Kane the next night on RAW, and would go on to hold it for another 90 days.
