"Bray Wyatt always loses," right? Apparently not.

The Eater of Worlds' inability to score big wins has defined his WWE career thus far, but his 2016 was highly successful, particular on pay-per-view. Wyatt hasn't had many huge opportunities, but he finished the year with a 5-1 record on PPV, and an overall win percentage of 73%. In terms of Raw numbers, he was one of 2016's most successful wrestlers.

As with Roman Reigns' loses, Bray Wyatt's wins come with a caveat. Many of Wyatt's victories came through involvement from his Family members, the lights shutting off, or a combination of both. The Wyatt Family patriarch tends to win by any means necessary, and his allies are always lurking in the shadows, ready to strike.

That being said, the tail-end of 2016 saw Wyatt take several big steps in the right direction. He scored the decisive pinfall to secure Team SmackDown's victory at Survival Series, and by the year's end, he was a WWE champion for the first time in his career. Luke Harper and Randy Orton have since lost the SmackDown Tag Team Championships, but Bray had little to do from the outcome, protecting him from any loss of momentum.

Is 2017 the year WWE finally make something of a man once branded "the next Undertaker?" Here's hoping.
