WrestleMania season is always wildly entertaining, but it can also be a catalyst for controversy. Particularly in the last few years, backstage stories have at times overshadowed the televised dramas. Think about CM Punk quitting, unhappy with his proposed match with Triple H at WrestleMania XXX. Or the Reigns problem last year, with the company having to completely overhaul plans to make him the franchise star. Once again, this 'Mania season will doubtless shine a spotlight on WWE's current problems. The greater scrutiny and pressure to succeed makes for a heated backstage environment, and it is surely just a matter of time until Vince McMahon or one of his wrestlers cracks. But not only is it backstage dramas, there will also be business dramas, too. The cold hard numbers have been punishing to WWE as of late, and there's a range of business fronts which WWE could once again get hammered on in the coming months. And of course, there's the all important customer satisfaction to consider. The holy grail for WWE is critical and commercial excellence, but in the past it has been more like "them versus us" when it comes to the company's relationship with its fans during WrestleMania season. The following are the big problems that are going to be exposed in the February to April period.
