10 Big WWE Returns That Could Happen In 2020

9. Goldberg

If there was one overarching message to take away from Goldberg's most recent WWE Chronicle episode - besides his inexplicable underestimation of his enlarged thigh girth - it's that his business in the industry wasn't concluded by his SummerSlam squash of Dolph Ziggler.

Though showing the Show-Off his place was designed to wipe clean the horrific stain left on Big Bill's legacy by the Super ShowDown catastrophe against The Undertaker, it isn't the last of his dirty laundry. The Chronicle doc made patently clear that Goldberg was heating himself back up like an abandoned cup of tea in the microwave, ahead of a much more intriguing opponent.

This opponent, it was heavily hinted, will be Matt Riddle, their Twitter beef now glazed into a worked meta-angle. It's the most logical answer, and a shoe-in for a Saudi showdown the line. Or Goldberg'll just wrestle Mike Tyson or some such celebrity. Who knows?

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
