10 Booking Steps For WWE Monday Night Raw

How to make Big Show relevant before he goes to hell with Brock Lesnar.

Giving WWE credit, Monday Night Raw hasn't felt like a 3 hour show over the past few weeks. Overall, the pacing has been better than usual, and there are enough stories spread across each event to make it feel worthwhile. Regardless, the company are really going to have to make a decision over the time limit at some point. Due to the fact Raw runs for 180 minutes, Smackdown has become even more neglected. That's not a good thing, because the Thursday night show should offer fans even more action, instead of being an overlooked retread of what's happening on Raw. After all, if WWE themselves treat it like an afterthought, why should fans feel any different? As the promotion motor ahead to the 'Live From Madison Square Garden' WWE Network special on October 3rd, this coming week's episode of Raw should take that into account. For example, there was no indication given last Monday about exactly who John Cena's next United States rival is going to be. In addition, The Big Show vs. Brock Lesnar match requires more build if it's going to be seen as worthy of fan attention. WWE should be trying to convince fans that the event is partly why the Network is so crucial. This coming week, just how could they achieve that, whilst also building up all the other stories they have going on? These booking ideas act as suggestions.
