10 Booking Steps For WWE Monday Night Raw

10. Lana Returns To Set The Record Straight

This past Monday on Raw, Rusev pinned Dolph Ziggler in a bumper 6-man tag-team match. Aligned with members of The New Day, the Bulgarian capitalised on Ziggler being distracted by Xavier Woods. Dolph's partners, The Dudley Boyz, were outside the ring dealing with both Kofi Kingston and Big E. The result was an exact reverse of Night Of Champions, where Ziggler beat Rusev. Summer Rae has played a huge role in Lana's absence. The 'Ravishing Russian' has been on the shelf nursing an injury, meaning she hasn't been part of the storyline for a few weeks now. In short, that fact has hurt the angle, which really requires Lana as a linchpin. Without her, the story has seemed a little lacking. WWE have been plodding along with it, looking to fill time before Lana's return. The company could do a lot worse this coming episode than having Lana return, even in a speaking role. At some point soon, a mixed tag-team bout is really a must. Putting thing bluntly, WWE's creative team must provide more intrigue than the love triangle between Summer, Rusev and Ziggler. The latter's relationship with Lana has been glossed over temporarily. Hearing from Lana would greatly help the story overall.
