5. Kane Set Yet Another Record At This Royal Rumble
In the 2006 list of Rumble facts, it was noted that Kane set a new record for consecutive Rumble matches participated in, with eight. In 2007, he continued to set new marks at the January tentpole, and yet another one related solely to his presence within the Rumble match.
Counting his 1996-97 appearances as Isaac Yankem and the impostor Diesel, the 2007 Rumble match marked Kane's 11th appearance in the titular match. That separated him from Fatu/Sultan/Rikishi, who had participated in ten of the matches between 1993 and 2004.
As of early 2018, Kane sits at 19 Rumble matches taken part in, seven more than the next highest total. It should also be noted that the 2007 Rumble match marked Shawn Michaels' tenth, tying him with the aforementioned Rikishi.
