6. Three Future World Champions Took Part In Their First Rumble Match

Out of the 30 entrants in the 2007 Rumble match, nine of them were competing for the very first time. This was a rather eclectic group that featured ECW legends like The Sandman and Sabu, as well as veterans pushing age 50, as was the case of the time-resistant Finlay.

Three of those first timers would each hold World Championships in WWE, and all within the next four years. The first was The Great Khali, who made his presence felt with a run of dominance toward the end of the 2007 gauntlet.

CM Punk was another of those future World Champions that was wrestling in his first Rumble. Here, he lasted more than 27 minutes before getting dumped by, go figure, Khali. The other was The Miz, also thrown out by Khali. However, Miz's stay was a brief one: he lasted just seven seconds.
