10 Fascinating WWE WrestleMania Facts You Didn't Know

Some interesting tidbits about wrestling's grandest stage.

One thing's for certain: whether you're excited about WrestleMania ("Yay, it's WrestleMania season!") or not ("I used my birthday wish to hope that the stadium jumbotron falls on Roman."), the long-running event goes a long way in mining through our nostalgic subconscious. As I began writing this, WrestleMania 25 was airing on WWE Network, and I re-experienced Undertaker and Shawn Michaels' irrefutable match of the year for 2009. Still holds up today, that's for sure. The Royal Rumble tends to be the event in which statistics are most employed to entice the audience, but after three decades of WrestleMania, there are understandably trivia troves filled to their brims from the longer-running event. While this article will certainly be far from a complete list of quirky little factoids, it's a pretty considerable starting point for putting such a rich amount of history into perspective. I'm more than open to doing more lists similar to this as the road to WrestleMania winds toward its end. It's all a matter of mining facts that are just as interesting and unique as what you're reading here. Here now, ten things there's a good chance you didn't know about WrestleMania. P.S. - Don't actually use your birthday wish toward causing harm to Roman Reigns. Wish for world peace, or something just as nice.
