10 Future WWE Grand Slam Champions

Excluding 'unofficial' Grand Slam Champion Dolph Ziggler.

WWE offers plenty of championships to compete for, and they're often more than happy to recognize those wrestlers who have achieved success with different titles. While there have technically been two layouts for their Grand Slam Champions, the modern version celebrates those wrestlers who have acquired either the WWE or Universal Championship, either brand's Tag Team Championship, and both the United States and Intercontinental Championships.

It's quite the impressive feat, one that has only been accomplished by 19 superstars over the years (although Dolph Ziggler has all but achieved it himself, with the World Heavyweight Championship unfortunately not counting). One must become successful enough to win a world championship, versatile enough to mesh well with a tag team partner, and lucky enough to get a shot at both mid-card championships. Now with the brands split into two, it's harder than ever for wrestlers to have hopes of accomplishing WWE's Grand Slam. That doesn't mean it's impossible.

Some wrestlers may be close, but others are just destined for greatness.

10. Sheamus

Well, Sheam-o certainly isn't destined for greatness in the long-term future, but he sure is close to Grand Slam glory.

Having already held the WWE, Raw Tag Team, and United States titles across the last four years, only the Intercontinental Championship still eludes him. Eventually, Sheamus & Cesaro will come to an end. While 2018 has seen fewer tag team split-ups than 2017, the pair started like as just a couple of floundering mid-carders thrown together. At some point, Vince will surely think, "Hey, they aren't doing anything and could both be making Roman look strong in singles matches. Split them up!". Ok, maybe not that exactly, but Sheamus and Cesaro's legacy probably won't be defined by this team.

Their breakup is inevitable, and once it happens, Sheamus will eventually find himself on the brand with the Intercontinental Championship. And since WWE is insistent on him staying around far past his world championship prime, he'll likely cross paths with an Intercontinental Champion or two. Despite WWE successfully rebuilding the Intercontinental title's prestige over the last year or so, it wouldn't be too unlikely to see Sheamus finally nab himself that last single's championship.
