Defiantly standing in the ring as a mountain of garbage rained down upon them, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall had formed the New World Order of professional wrestling, brother. As soon as the faction joined forces at WCW's Bash At The Beach 1996 pay-per-view, perception of the promotion began to change.
The wheels had already been set in motion by the unthinkable decision to go head-to-head with Vince McMahon and Monday Night Raw. Starting in September of 1995, Monday Nitro offered wrestling fans an alternative to the tried-and-tested formula thrown out by the WWF each week.
