Ever since it became evident that Daniel Bryan would need an additional surgical procedure before returning to the ring, rumors have been swirling about his future. Speculation that he needed Tommy John surgery (a UCL-reconstruction operation named for a baseball player and frequently performed on MLB pitchers) led fans to fear that he would be out of action well into 2015. WWE seemingly put those rumors to rest by advertising Bryan in in-ring action for the company's European tour in November, but he was pulled from the line-up the next day without explanation. Amidst the confusion, we wonder what is the next step for the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion? It looks like Bryan's uncertain future is still just that, but hopefully before too long, he will be back in the ring, once again receiving some of the biggest reactions in all of WWE. Still, to really put the exclamation point on his return, he needs a big program waiting for him some bad blood to truly capture the fans imaginations and remind them why Bryan became so beloved in the first place.
