Shawn Michaels enjoyed one of the most storied WWE careers ever. Many would argue that he’s the greatest wrestler that the company has ever seen. He’s also one of the most controversial figures to have ever been employed by the industry. As great as he was as a performer, his attitude could be downright toxic at times.

He enjoyed humble beginnings with Marty Jannetty in the Midnight Rockers, and the two quickly became one of the most exciting teams in the business. When they went their separate ways, Michaels became the Heartbreak Kid and eventually turned into Vince McMahon’s chosen one in the mid ‘90s. He captured a ton of championships along the way, and entertained millions of fans around the world. As famous and successful as he’s been, there’s still a lot of little known facts about him.

That's in large party due to the crazy life that Shawn has lived. Besides his incredibly successful in-ring career, he battled his own personal demons for years and could have ended up another casualty of the business. Luckily he turned his life around, but there's still a lot of things he's done that he's not particularly proud of.
