10 Most Underrated WWE Stars Of The Attitude Era

3. X-Pac

As The 1-2-3 Kid, Sean Waltman was one of the surprise stars of what€™s now known as the New Generation Era, and his upset victory of Razor Ramon is often cited as one of the greatest moments in Monday Night Raw history. During the early nineties he won the WWF Tag Team Championships on two occasions, once with Marty Jannetty and once with Bob Holly. Waltman left the WWF in 1996 and a few months later was unveiled as the newest member of the nWo, Syxx. He returned to the WWF two years later as the first recruit in Triple H€™s DX Army, he took the name X-Pac and fit right in with the WWF€™s new Attitude Era. Chris Jericho says in his first book that X-Pac was often used as the measuring stick, and that new wrestlers were often put against him because if they couldn€™t have a good match with him, they probably couldn€™t have a good match. He went on to win the WWF European, Light Heavyweight and Tag Team Championships twice each, as well as another run with the WCW Cruiserweight Championship during The Invasion. He rejoined the WWF€™s version of nWo in 2002, but parted ways with the company later that year. In the intervening years he€™s spent time with TNA, CHIKARA and a host of other indies, as well as the odd nostalgia appearance on WWE TV and signed a Legends Contract in 2013.
