10 Most Underrated WWE Stars Of The Attitude Era

4. D'Lo Brown

D€™Lo Brown first joined the WWF as part of Farooq€™s militant Nation of Domination stable, and once the only one to survive its initial incarnation. Among the reformed Nation, D€™Lo was often allied closely with Mark Henry and when the faction fell apart the two remained friends and a tag team. He began wearing a bulky chest protector due to a torn pectoral muscle courtesy of Dan €œThe Beast€ Severn, but wore it well past the time it was needed and used it to his advantage to win matches. He started to become incredibly popular with fans thanks to his confident attitude and signature head bobble, which was emulated by everyone in the stands as he walked to the ring. Most famously, D€™Lo Brown was the first Eurocontinental Champion, one of only four men to hold both the European and Intercontinental Championships at the same time. As European Champion, he insisted on being billed from a different European city each week and is one of the wrestlers most closely associated with the title. D€™Lo was released in 2003, but returned for a very brief period in 2009 before being released again due to cost-cutting measures. He spent some time in TNA with Aces & Eights, as well as in Japan for AJPW and currently teaches a weekly wrestling class in Las Vegas for Future Stars of Wrestling.
