10 Most Notorious WWE Urban Legends Involving Celebrities

Rey Mysterio Jennifer Nai World Wrestling Entertainment loves involving celebrities. Whether they are in the ring having matches, guest ring announcing, singing the national anthem, guest hosting Raw to plug whatever movie they're in or just hanging out in the crowd, the celebrity involvement has always been important to WWE. It's smart of WWE to want to involve celebrities. They built the WrestleMania brand around the use of celebrities after all. The presence of big stars like Mr. T, Muhammad Ali and Cyndi Lauper really put WrestleMania on the map. It caused casual fans to watch because of those people, but then they kept watching because they liked what WWE was doing. Some celebrities are great guests on wrestling shows. Others look lost out there. The ones that usually show that they belong are people that grew up as wrestling fans or maybe they're still fans. If you watched WWE during the guest host era in 2009-10 then you saw how great people like Bob Barker and Shaquille O'Neal were while Al Sharpton and ZZ Top were absolutely terrible at it. Normally when we do the "notorious urban legends" feature it's about a particular wrestler. This time, though, we're changing it up. It's all about the urban legends surrounding celebrities in wrestling. We'll let you know all about the story, then why people believe it to be true and then we'll figure out if we should believe it. There are so many stories to pick from that it's tough to capture them all, but we narrowed it down to ten. Here they are.
