10 Things I Hate About CM Punk

After writing about the Ten Things I Hate About John Cena, Dolph Ziggler and Brock Lesnar, someone challenged me to write in the same format about a wrestler I genuinely loved.

Of course, to a certain degree I already have. That€™s the point of the 10 Things I Hate About You gimmick, after all: to take a thing you care about and list the ways in which it drives you bananas. I€™m a huge Ziggler fan that thinks he€™s been wasted to the point of sabotage in the last year or so, and back in 2002/2003 and 2012/2013, Brock Lesnar was the game-changing catalyst for havoc that I€™d always wanted in a WWE main eventer.

But what about a wrestler I didn€™t just like, didn€™t just respect, but actually identified with, had followed for years before he was signed to the big leagues? What about CM Punk?

For someone else, this might be a no-brainer: after all, the former record setting WWE Champion - now retired, and seeking a second wind as a UFC fighter - is a little like Marmite. People either like him or they don€™t, there€™s rarely a middle ground and if they don€™t like him, they usually hate him. But if you€™re a dyed-in-the-wool fan, like me?
