For years, 33 had been something of a special one to Austin personally. He didn't explain why on Talk Is Jericho, which is a shame, but it did turn this year's WrestleMania into a truly unique moment in his career. Rather coincidentally, the WWE run of Austin Aries peaked with a match at 'Mania 33.

After he had exposed that particular nugget of info, Aries was quizzed by Jericho on what it was like working the Kickoff spot on the card. Austin claimed it didn't bother him, revealed that being shunted off the main show had nothing to do with his departure from WWE and even said he took the spot as a compliment.
